Fort Wayne Area/NE Indiana

A NE Indiana Group, probably centered in the greater Fort Wayne area, is an objective that the Hoosier Chapter is actively pursuing. We have about 500 members in NE Indiana.

Film: Coal Country

Please join us for the film "Coal Country."

It will be shown Monday, November 9th @ 6:30 PM at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation in Fort Wayne. mountaintop removal

The film explores the devastating practice of mountain-top removal coal mining and is a part of the Sierra Club's focus on the impact of coal on our environment.

The film also comes at a time when Sierra Club members in Northeast Indiana are exploring the possibility of starting a local Sierra Club group to work on environmental issues and enjoy nature through outings. A brief overview of possibilities for a regional group will be presented.
